Skyway is a “one stop shop” for system integrators wishing to build their own microwave transmission systems. Our core expertise and business focus is in the design and manufacture of RF/microwave/millimeter modules. We design ODU to optimize cost and performance by using the industry’s highest level of integration. Standard ODU are available in all the major frequency bands from UHF through 40 GHz supporting both ETSI and ANSI standards.
Our universal Lightning-Q ODU can support QCPSK through 256QAM modulation and 7MHz through 56MHz channel bandwidths in both standard and high power options. This series supports QCPSK up to 256QAM and is a state-of-the-art product. For the OEM customers, it can act as the platform to upgrade and expand current product offering while maintaining superior quality, reliability and high performance. Skyway Lightning-Q ODU can support both PDH (up to 24E1) and SDH (STM1) IDU.
Our Lightning-F ODU is aimed at the low capacity and cost market with maximum modulation of 8CPSK and 54 Mbps full duplex throughput. For the OEM customers, it can act as the platform to upgrade and expand current product offering while maintaining superior quality, reliability and high performance. With frequency ranging from UHF to 40GHz, Skyway Lightning-F ODU can support PDH (1E1~16E1) IDUs.
If the integrator requires more modules to complete the transport system, we can also offer various ancillary equipments including RF Couplers for 1+1 operation, cables, connectors and conversion panels, etc. We can provide both PDH and SDH terminals as per customers’ requests.

Skyway R&D team currently consists of around 100 professionals, with key design people holding advanced degrees and having more than twenty years experience in the design and manufacture of RF modules. All design is done in our Beijing campus with manufacture carried out by high volume local ISO9000 approved factories under the direction and control of our manufacturing engineers. The equipment is field proven with large and growing installing cases in China and other countries.
